I'm a British-Chinese illustrator and designer with a passion for creating enchanting illustrations and captivating book designs, particularly for audiences ages 3-18 years. By blending vibrant colours, textures and elements of fantasy and nature in my work, I aim to bring depth, playfulness and whimsy to every piece. My art often reflects themes of curiosity, kindness and surrealism, inspired by my own experiences, and mirroring my belief in the magic of art to uplift and inspire diverse audiences.
Having graduated with a BA in Illustration from Norwich University of the Arts, I've honed my skills in digital illustration using Procreate and the Adobe Creative Suite. I'm proud to have participated in mentorship programmes with ITSme and Penguin Random House, further enhancing my craft. Once of my standout projects, Aileen and the Beast of Fortune, showcases my talent in creating interior illustrations and cover designs for a thrilling middle-grade book rooted in Chinese fantasy. I also collaborated with Settle Stories to bring storytelling to life for children through my illustrations.
Based in Essex, UK, where I find solace by the coast, I draw inspiration from nature, fairy tales and fantasy movies. When I'm not immersed in my creative endeavours, you can find me enjoying the company of my mischievous black cat, Nova. I am actively looking for work and internship opportunities in the creative industry.
